Hinduism

Hinduism is said to be ‘apauruseya’ which means of impersonal origin
and so are the Gods of Hinduism. They are eternal though the deities
appear to be different & independent, they are really facets of the
same i.e the Supreme God.
As has been said by Sri Ramakrishna, there can be as many spiritual
paths as there are spiritual aspirants and also there can be as many
Gods as there are devotees to suit the devotion, feelings, emotions
etc of the devotees.
All the Hindu scriptures are eloquent while describing the qualities
of God.They describe him as all-knowing and all powerful. He is the
very personification of justice, love and beauty. In short everything
that is righteous and good.It is from the Rig Veda, we come to know of
the vedic gods eight Vasus, eleven Rudras, twelve Adityas, Indra and
Prajapathi, being the Gods of earth, the heavens and the space.
