Mehandi also known as henna is  made out of mehandi leaves  by the mixture of curd,water and the paste of  mehandi leaves which is used to design palms and specially almost every Indian girl would love to apply it on their palms and enjoy flauting them and they apply in all major occasions like marriages,festivals etc and it is normally applied during night and let it to be dried till next morning and wash it with water which gives redissh brown colour to palms and the design applied glows on the plams.
